Who we are
Anchor Point Publication House (“Anchor Point,” “we,” “us”) is a small, family-run independent publisher. This site is our press hub, intended for adult readers, educators, librarians, parents, and members of the trade.
Audience
This site is adult-facing. It is not directed at children. Anchor Point Publication House does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through this site.
Email signup and educator unlock
The newsletter signup and educator materials unlock on this site require you to certify that you are 18 years of age or older before submitting. The 18+ checkbox is required — submissions that do not include this confirmation are not accepted by the forms.
When you submit the newsletter or educator unlock form, your email address is sent directly to Resend, the email service provider we use to send updates, and stored there. We do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB for these forms — nothing about your visit is tracked in your browser beyond the one-time submission.
We use Resend, a standard email service provider, to store adult email addresses solely so we can send relevant updates. Educator unlock submissions are tagged as educator contacts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every message we send.
SMS program
SMS program (Anchor Point Publication House / The Woven Kickstarter). We send texts only after you reply YES to an opt-in message from us. The Woven Kickstarter texts from Anchor Point Publication House. Up to 4 msgs/month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply YES to opt in, STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Mobile numbers and other mobile information collected for this program are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Traffic measurement
We use Google Analytics on this site's marketing and campaign pages (the press hub, the Woven pages, the Kickstarter landing page, and the educator pages) to understand how many people visit and where they come from. This may set cookies and collect general device and approximate-location information in your browser on those pages. We deliberately do not run Google Analytics, or any tracking, on the reader portal or the sample-chapter pages, since those are the parts of the site a child is most likely to browse directly.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you submit the newsletter or educator unlock form, and only to send relevant updates.
- Name and optional school or role — only if you submit the educator unlock form and choose to provide them, and only to understand adult educator interest in the materials.
- Direct correspondence — if you email us at [email protected], we keep your message so we can reply.
- Basic server logs — our host may keep standard access logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) for security and reliability.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not run advertising tracking on this site.
- We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
